Ebay maybe, I will look for you tonight. If not I will see if GA has one somewhere, or maybe a few other forums I know of

thanks, but they seem to be different, i have dual usb + firewire next to the s/pdif where you have dual usb and dual usb next to the analog audio where you have dual usb + gigabit lan.

I just got my RMA ex38-ds4. Assuming they are the same, I am sure they won't miss an I/O shield when it is returned. PM me your details and I will mail it out.

anyone else got one to spare or know where I could buy one? I got the same exact board and am in the same predicament. I searched ebay and most of the backplates available on there are for older Gigabyte mobos (most of them are the same as what my case came with - a generic one with a parallel slot and whatnot).

I'd be glad to trade something for it, if there's anything I can help you with. (got tons of extra usb, sata, etc cables, cd sleeves / cases, and a boxes full of other stuff).

              Re: ga-x38-ds4

WOW, do open boxes even come with the box from Newegg, I have often wondered how Good the deal would be with missing items. And Ya Know I have returned many things, just opened, I wonder if they then resell those as open item, and keep the goods and just send out the main part. Or do the ones who get nothing get what someone sent back to newegg and just didnt know how to return something

Most companies will be able to provide a replacement I/O Shield if contacted directly. I would call and ask about it, or email (Likely Slower way) I am sure they can send you one, for a price

I searched High and Low for you as well, with no luck. I would call GA and ask personally I am sure they will ship you one out NO problem

Sad! I am glad I decided against buying like that!

I assume that are not all that way, since they say they wont take a RMA without all items included. But sounds like it!

Sounds like JustinHEMI sent you one. Pm him and be sure so you may not have to pay GA for that shipping

oh, I think he meant he sent it to Norwood :-)

Thanks for looking out though anyway, I just went ahead and paid the $9 because Newegg never responded to my inquiry about it and I didn't feel like delaying my build any longer.
