directX 10

Hello, i have a fully active vista 64 ultimate and i went to the microsoft web page to dl directx10. It gave me a web installer however once i run it the installer says it can't connect to wherever it is supposed to and closes. I tried it billion times and it keeps doing the same(been trying to do so since a week). Can someone help me and tell me where else can i get directx10 so i can install it on my pc.

edit : i tried to contact their support , but i got lost in their friggin site! and i am going nuts :(

any help would really be appreciated

You don't need to download anything. Vista comes bundled with Directx 10. One you install it and your card supports it, you're fine.

If you're still not certain and want to ease your mind, go to start-->run-->dxdiag

You will see "DirectX version:DirectX 10"
