  • Gigabyte EX58 UD5P After night cold boot problem

    Hi everybody,

i have big problem with this board.I can not understand why.I try everything but i can not solved my problem.sometimes it can be opened with 166 Bclk 3486 mhz (with Turbo).Everything is OK when tested.6-8 hours stress test is OK.Memory test is OK.After shut down my comp. i can not open again.it says everytime (OC failed ).When i try to load bios setting. It can not open again.I tried 2 PSU.I think this is not simple PSU problem. And i tried everything.Other new VGA but I think this is really mainboard problem. When i try 10-15 times.Sometimes it can be open.
I tried F4-F5-F6 bios. But my problem can not be solved. When i try Bclk 150 eveytime it can be open without OC failed. What is this problem.I tried 3x2gb , 2x2 gb my problem is same.I tried manual ram setting (advanced setting ) everthing is same.I tried slow ram setting all is same i tried 9-10-10-25 ( 1333mhz) same problem.i tried 10-10-10-25 same problem..i tried 9-9-9-24 same problem.i tried 1066 mhz everything is same. There is big cold boot problem. Who can use with bclk 150 or higher? I think this is ULTRA Cancer

Re: Gigabyte EX58 UD5P After night cold boot problem

I got the same problem, when i do a cold reboot my comp reboots 2 times. After that i get the OC Failed.
Everything is on normal but i got 1600mhz memory (OCZ Reaper PC15000).
Normal settings are 1.50 volts. But they need 1.65, i set my memory to 1600mhz.
After that my system boots fine etc. But when doing a cold reboot my computer wil reboot twice and reset every setting i made to the memory to standard setting.
I've set my Ram to 9-9-9-24 like they say.

Alot of ppl are reporting the same thing in the thread below.
It seems the mobo goes doing wierd above 1066mhz memory speed.

    GA-EX58-UD5 and G.Skill DDR3-1600 6GB issue?
