USA Government should required by federal law to issue $2,500 vouchers to every citizen towards the purchase of a new computer system every year. ALSO, vouchers can be sold/traded/bought and combined, and vouchers have no name on them for combining and selling vouchers.
Can you imagine how many MILLION jobs this would create?

Oh my God, bro axelrose u got nice procie Q9400 with VID 1,1volt!! i wish i had that one so it will need less vcore to overclock which is safe. Mine got
VID 1,2875v, u should get FSB 400 with 3,2ghz easy bro.... mine had 3,2ghz with vcore 1,3-1,32v sorry cant remember then u should get 3,2ghz with all stock voltages except vcore need alittle add up into perhaps 1,2voltor 1,25v??
      Intel Core i5 2500k @3.33ghz (4.5ghz 1.255v)

          Re: UD3P + Q9400 Overclock HELP PLEASE...

Your vcore it to much i think, try this :
-Vcore : 1.1625volt ---> it should be fine for FSB400 (3.2ghz) but if not stabil just add 1 step higher or 2 step... max 1.2-1.25volt i think.
          -Vtt : 1.2volt (default)
          -CPU PLL : 1.5volt (default)
-MCH core : 1.1volt (default) ---> if not stabil just add 1 step or 2 step higher like 1.18v or 1.2volt, usually for 4G ram needs 1.2-1.24volt when overclocked.
-DRAM voltage : 2.1volt (default) ---> if u use freq 1066mhz then 2.1volt is whats needed, unless u use higher frequency like 1080mhz or lower freq. like 800mhz.
Btw mybest advice is try to look at @kick thread :) here http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/q840...igh-fsb-37179/

              I'm confused now.

My default VCore is 1.2125 volts and you're saying mine is too high?

You're saying 1.1625 Vcore which is lower than my default vcore.
0.05 volts lower than my cpu's vcore default.

              Are we crossing wires?
Mine is motherboard gigabyte ga-ep45-ud3p (rev 1.1) with Intel Core 2 Quad q9400 if I didn't mention earlier..

Sorry axelrose i saw ur bios setting "CPU vcore 1.1625volt ---> 1.3v" ... in my bios mobo that setting is for cpu VID or cpu vcore, mine shows "CPU vcore 1.2875 ----> 1.3625v" so 1.2875 is my default procie vcore.
Glad @lsdmeasap can help u :) coz i'm still an amatir hehe.
