  • What improvements have been made for revision F10E Bios for EP45-UD3P??

This is really not what I expected..

What's the reasoning for listing new bios's if what the revision includes is not explained??

I would have thought someone may have known..

when it comes to overclocking it's jsut trial & error. If you look at forums you'll see that some people will see better performance and some will report worse overclocking performance with a new BIOS.

There's rarely a comprehensive changelog for a BIOS. Sometimes there will be things like "Improved memory compatability" in the changelog, or fixed "S3 sleep mode bug" but whether thoses "fixes" actually fix your problem with memory/S3 is something you'll only know when you try the BIOS.

And in case you don't know, you can always flash back to F8. Just note your current settings (I think there's some feature to save the profiles but I've never used that).

            That would upset some people!!

Some people hate it when there voltages and settings from previous BIOS's do not work in the new ones

yeah it does suck having to redo stability testing but less voltage is always better and worth it imo

                HAHA, Right!

Often people only try more when less is what is needed

                  I haven't tried F10E yet, I think I did try F10D or B and that I noticed I couldn't control my

Has anyone else noticed that in E or did they fix that? I ask because my middle fan AKA the Air duct fan for my Antec 1200 can only be controlled speed wise at the moment with that setting in the bios since I don't have room for it on my Vantec Nexus Fan Controller.
