I've had several issues with Mushkin brand RAM in these last couple weeks (2 sets DOA). I've always had positive results with Corsair, but I'm wondering what the best RAM for this mobo is, if trying to run Windows XP Pro now and soon will upgrade to Windows 7.
No announcement yet.

Re: Best RAM for GA-EP45-UD3R
I can say with utter 100% cast iron experience that GSkill PK series (aqua heat spreaders) are amazing on the P45 UD3 boards. They simply work, nuff said.
They're the only other combo of board and RAM I've used that will work in an 8GB config using two dual channel kits (put a kit on each channel, don't mix em up). The other was a P35 DFI board combined with OCZ Platinum (was called something else back then but is the same 5-5-5-15 2.1-2.2V stuff).
Depends where you are as to how much this RAM will cost you. DDR2 has shot up in price. It was $49/£40 for 2x2gb, but expect to pay $99/£69 or more for a 4GB kit of the good stuff.

Re: Best RAM for GA-EP45-UD3R
I sent you a PM in reply to your post on my profile.
Please do pay attention to it, like I said P45 is a tricky beast and is nothing like older gen. boards. Your ram sets may have been fine, you just did not have proper settings.

Re: Best RAM for GA-EP45-UD3R
I have the same board, and have 8Gb of OCZ DDR3 onboard which runs sweetly and without any issues at all under W7.
Here's a link to the specifications on the manufacturers website.
