64 bit drivers for win7 on X58-Ud5 MB

I have an Intel i920 D0 stepping based computer using a GB EX58-UD5 MB, no sound card, XFX RadeonHD4890 XT 1GB 875 Mhz 3.9Ghz GDR5 PCI-E, DUAL 1 Terrabyte WD SATA2 Caviar Blacks, LG W2442PA-BF24" LCD monitor, and OCZ X-750 Equalizer Mouse with 6 Gig of Corsair memory and a Samsung SH-S223Q/BEBS 22X SATA DVD, and Brother MFC-7840W All-in-One printer.
I bought the system back in July 2009 so any driver disks I have are all pre the Win7 Gold. I did not want to buy Vista so close to the release of Win7 so I loaded the Win7 RC 64 bit and muddled through planning to get the Win7 Pro Gold 64 bit when released which I have just got.
First I am a relative newbie. I am now ready to move from the RC to Gold 64 bit. How do I load all the newest drivers? do I first load all the driver disks from the manufacturer and the update them one by one or what??
I did not activate Raid the first time should I do so now and in what mode or just keepthe dual disks as drive C; and D: as they are now. I saw some "preinstall RAID drivers on the GB site. What are they for. Also what is AHCI for and how do I set it up? BTW will there be an update of BIOS for USB3 for this MB? How risky is flashing the MB even with the DUAL BIOS feature of GB?
I would like to set up another partition for Linux a little later. Are there drivers available that work for Win7 64 bit on Linux and my hardware? Where can I find them? (BTW can I use the D: drive as my Linux partition?)
Do I need to wipe my harddrives before I load the new OS?
Can you give me a sequence of operations I need to perform (don't leave out any step even if obvious because I am a newbie).
Right now my partitions are as follows. The 0 physical drive has partition C: and a small partition reserved for the OS (Win7 RC 64 bit) plus some 250 GB that are unallocated and intended for an eventual Linux partition. The 1 physical drive is entirely D:.
Am I better off with each OS (Win7 64 bit and Linux [Ubuntu] on a different physical drive?
Should I flash the MB to the latest F10 BIOS or leave it as is. I now have the factory BIOS F7 from AWARD dated 11/05/2009. With DUAL BIOS feature is this a risky procedure. I do not want a paper weight.
