I'm using GA-X58A-UD3R (rev. 1.0) with Intel Core I7 930 and 6 gig ram OCZ3G1600LV6GK.
When I had X58AUD3R version f6c bios , once in two weeks I would receive "The system has experienced boot failure...". So I would would set up all my setting again and all is fine.
I'm not OCing but I am running the memory at 1600 mhz.
Here are my memory settings.
Set Performance Enhance to {Standard}
Set DRAM Timing Selectable to {Expert}
Set Memory Timings to CL 9-9-9-24 (CL-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)
Set Command Rate to {2}
Set QPI / VTT Voltage to {1.35 Volts}
Set DRAM Voltage to {1.65 volts}
tRFC 88
OCZ3G1600LV6GK
Now I am currently using X58AUD3R.6i and I love it! I like the new menu layout. and it boots much faster!
Are there any other setting I need to change to prevent the message "The system has experienced boot failure..."? I havnt had the version Fi to see the message yet.
VCore is currently set at AUTO should I change it to Normal?
