I'm having a friend build the computer and they can't get it to POST. The following errors are what come up.

D1 - Perform keyboard controller BAT test. Check if waking up from power management suspend state. Save power-on CPUID value in scratch CMOS.

D3 - If memory sizing module not executed, start memory refresh and do memory sizing in Bootblock code. Do additional chipset intialization. Re-enable CACHE. Verify that flat mode is enabled.

C7 - Early CPU init Exit

Also, there is no video, but not sure if it's because of the above or another issue altogether.

What do they mean? How can I fix? Does this mean the Mobo is dead?

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition
GPU: XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT)
    RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM

Sorry if I seem impatient. Been trying to solve it for 2 weeks now.

Re: ASRock 870 Extreme3 Help Please...4 days waiting now

        Thanks for the help /Sarcasm

OK, been fiddling around since haven't gotten official help yet. Even emailed ASRock's tech support, and they haven't responded.

This is what I've found out...
When RAM is in A1/B1 (blue slots) I get the 3 errors above.
When RAM is in A2/B2 (white slots) I get errors D5 and D0 (don't know their meaning).

When RAM is in A1/A2, system boots, posts, and shows video.

Can I please get some help?
