PMBUS Address Error !
Having trouble with my ASRock Extrem4 Gen 3 motherboard. I am getting a “PMBUS Address Error !” on a cold computer start and some times, I get this when I do a warm restart. I do have this computer Overclocked... from Intel i7-2600K 3.4Ghz to 4.0 Ghz. I have Windows 7 64bit installed. I have done stress testing on this system, and it seems to pass all test with no errors or problems. It seems to be very stable with Windows 7 and the settings I have. The only problem I seem to be having is this PMBUS Error at boot time. I have attached some pictures in hope someone might have an answer, and/or has run into this problem as well. I know this is considered overclocking at your own risk. However all of the forums I have read. This is a mild overclock and should be no problem. I am not looking to go any higher in speed value, but would like to get this stable if possible. Not sure if it’s a “Bios” issue and /or bios setting. I chose this motherboard because of the many good reviews, and was suppose to be compatible with the hardware I have.
Any assistance on this would greatly be appreciated.
