    Couple of questions:

    1. when I change my background or colors, log off...it is not fading to black and white... whenI had XP on my old box it would do this and thought it was kewl.... does anyone know how I can make Xp do this, I could not find the setting change anywhere!

    2. I cannot get the login screen to appear.... it just auto logs me into windows, and I do not want that. I changed the settings under the user profiles, but this resulted in no change.. is there a registry or file I can edit so it will not auto log in?

    3. Damn num lock key always gets turned off... I want it on!!! What is the registry that I need to search for and what value do I need to change it to, so i dont have to press my num lock key evertime I turn my computer on!
    Thanks :)

antoher thing to add to the list of things not working 100%

          1. I cannot get CTRL+ALT+ Del to work when I come to the classic log in screen. I looked at the MS info database...they said you had to click on the advanced tab in user accounts, well there is none:confused:

          2. My picture in the start menu is gone! I cannot get it back... is this due to the fact that I switched to the classic mode.... or is window being stupid! :afro: kind of like the afro on the that pic

well nm about the picture problem... you have to have the "new" log in screen to have a picture next to your name!! No classic login.... that I really really really stupid. WhyTF would you have picture option and not use it both ways. I do not undestand! Your log in name is there no matter what log-in method you choose. Why not have the picture there also!!! :thumbs do
