Right after the mobo posts, I get 5-10 seconds of time before freeze

I had to return my ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard.

The ASRock Z68 Extreme3 was dead right out of the box- thankfully I got it from a vendor who will take a return.
