X58 Extreme3 Freezing only during games

Afternoon guys, I've had this system for a year now, its been running smooth ever since last month. I always thought it was a bug in Battlefield 3, until I started up Mass Effect 3, dirt 3, dead space 2, I get about on avg. 10mins into a game and it will freeze. Can't crtl alt del, move mouse around, nothing. I've looked at my temps (nice and cool), drivers, window updates, everything. Its not overcloaked (never has been), nothing new installed as far as hardware related. I've reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 7 and still the same thing. I've tried to tweak the memory voltage from 1.65 to 1.5 still same issue. I've taken everything out and reseated everything, took memory out, only did 3 sticks in the white slots, still same issue. I've replaced my power supply as it was a 500 watt going on age to a OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W, still same issue.

Welcome to the forums.

Is the system running at stock speed or is the system overclocked? Have you run any stress test programs to make sure the system if fully stable?

If you could please grab a bios template from the link in my sig and fill it out with your complete bios settings.

Also its great that you provided your system details but it would be better if you could put then into your sig so we dont have to keep referring to your fist post.

The system is running stock speed, never overclocked.

I've ran a few different stress test and no lock ups what so ever. This was one of the first things I did to see if there was an sign of over heating.

Once I get home from work I'll go ahead and fill out the bios setting template

My 1 year warranty just ran out last month on the mobo. I've Google my computer problem and some were promising but no fix. I've looked under my Computer Event's log under administrator tool software and nothing to pin point a problem.

I don't think it's my my CPU or 3D card because I can go hours of hearing music, editing pictures, video, movies, etc and no crashes.

Hey sorry but I did not realized you system is a Asrock not a Gigabyte system so those bios templates my not have the same info as what your bios shows but I would imagine you could adopt one of them.

What stress test programs did you use IBT(Intel Burn test), LinX, Prime95? How did you run them, how long did you run them?

I did Prime95 and a MSI kombuster test too. I know I did another one too forgot the name. I did them for about 5-10mins. I can go through hours of watching movies on netflix without issues.

****, came back from Starbucks from editing pictures last night, turned on my desktop and about 10-15mins into a movie, freeze...any suggestions now?

Can you post your full bios settings and then we can have a look.

Also only 5-10 min of prime95 is not long enough to call it stable. With prime95 you need to run for a few hrs of small and large ffts.

I suggest LinX/IBT ran a max memory for 10-15 loops 20 max.
