  • How to save BIOS settings in HDD or USB

How does one save the existing BIOS settings and profiles in HDD or USB. Asrock gives 3 profiles which I would like to save
and re-use after a BIOS flash. I could not find information in MB manual

Babdi, If you run AXTU, there is an option called "OC DNA" that lets you save the settings in some type of file. You can also load them from that screen. I haven't used it yet so I don't know how well it works and the limitations, etc.

Thanks Babdi, a nice feature not found on all boards. I'm sure you noticed it puts the file in a System folder (as I recall, something like that) so don't forget you'll need to put them there for future use, I guess. Also, since the UEFI only lets you save several copies, it may not see all of those that you saved. I may be wrong since I've never tried it yet. Perhaps that OC DNA feature will list more or all that are saved.

bius, good question, I don't know how to do that with your board. Can you save "UEFI profiles" in the UEFI? If so, you will need to find where they are stored on disk, that is, IF they are stored on disk as is done with AXTU.

              hi parsec,

yes is possible to save profiles on the UEFI but not possible to save them on disk... there is no option to do that... and even if they can be store on disk the AXTU isn't compatible with Z77 Fatal1ty boards... only the F-Stream Tuning Utility and this utility does not have the ability to save or load the UEFI profile.
