Re: Welcome to Lian Li Technical Support!

Mr. Tweak, When applying for a give away not only here but in the other place I respectfully request one not have to apply through face book to qualify. Not everyone uses FB and it shouldn't be a requirement. Just to be fair to all.

    Thanks!

Re: Welcome to Lian Li Technical Support!

Sorry to bother you HERE with this, but on the Lian Li website there is a RMA page..I've tried filling in the form several times and there are two problems. One it says it must have photos of damaged parts - but ONLY takes ONE photo upload. Second, when I send it, I get a message 'sucessfully sent', but later I get an email saying the message could not be sent and the address doesn't exist for that hidden email address on the form...so how do I contact Lian Li or one of their representatives. I have a B25FB case that needs a new front panel. Thanks.

Sorry about the inconvenience. Please PM me all your details on the RMA page, Lian Li Industrial Co., Ltd., including telephone, address, and email. Please also attach the photos. I will get it going to the right place.

I send a PM with all of the information, minus photos, I don't see a way to attach photos to a PM, can only attach them here or if you send me a private email. Thanks much.

Re: Welcome to Lian Li Technical Support!

You can attach one or more images in a PM or a forum post by clicking on the INSERT IMAGE icon (in the small red box) when the pictures are stored on the web. In this case, I have linked to a picture that is in my Public Folder at DropBox. You can also do this when posting in the forum as I'm doing right now.

For each picture that you want to include, you need to click on the INSERT IMAGE icon once for each picture, and you need to include the unique web address for each picture that you want to include. I prefer to use the ADVANCED EDITOR posting window so that I can preview the PM or the post before it is finished.

If you see a checked box and the text Retrieve remote file and reference locally below the URL address, uncheck the box.

Re: Welcome to Lian Li Technical Support!

                Good afternoon,

A friend bought a Lian-Li EX-50, set it up as Raid5 and then decided it was not what he wanted so sent it to me. I've attached it to my QNAP NAS and can access it via file manager but when I run the SATA Raid5 Manager I get the error "could not acquire application lock! press button to exit". The user guide doesn't cover this and I couldn't find anywhere on-line that would help. While searching I came across this site and thought I'd ask the experts. Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I'd like to setup email notification which I think has to be done via the Manager.

                Any assistance much appreciated.

                I'm running Windows 7 home premium 64bit.

Re: Welcome to Lian Li Technical Support!

For the Lian Li PC-TU100 Silver Case, I want to know about the optical drive. If I install a black Blu-ray drive, will it show as black in the case? Is there a silver bezel or do I need to buy a silver bezel to attach to my optical drive? It looks like if I buy this case and install a black optical drive that it will show as such. Or, does that silver piece on the case flip down? I hope so because I want the case to look right if I buy it.

I notice that there are many silver aluminum Lian Li bezels available on the market, but I haven't found a "Slim" design. Will I need to buy a bezel to attach to my slim optical drive if I buy this Model? Does this model come with a silver bezel for my optical drive?

Please let me know how I can purchase the silver aluminum PC-TU100 and be able to install a slim optical drive, all with the same silver aluminum design. I don't want to see the color black on my case at all.

What's the inside temp different if using this Lian-li aluminum case over the steel cases ? Any test report ?

What's the current turn-around time for RMAs? The top fan on my new PC-A55B case was DOA. I used the RMA form around Wednesday. Am I supposed to be contacted at all? Thanks.
