    V351B - where the heck can I get replacement panel screws?

    Yeah, yeah, it's "old." It's also easily one of the finest chassis around for uATX builds. (Just ask any of the 30+ people who have built BabyDragons with them.)

    Problem being, I somehow managed to lose my Tupperware with the panel screws for one of mine. HDD mounts, no problem - I replace them regularly! Front fan screws, piece of cake. Even the feet, I have a source for. But the side panel screws - the counter-sunk ones? NOBODY can get me those.

    Anyone know of a source for them? Preferably not in quantity eleventy billion, since I only need one set.
    It's not a real high end workstation till it's got four sockets, eight video cards, and takes two thirty amp circuits to run. Yes, I build those kind of systems too.

    The stock screws are countersunk M3x6 or so my research says.. these are not special screws..
    You should be able to get them from any shop.. looks like lots of folks are getting Allen version of this..

    Just put in countersunk M3x6 into google and hit the shopping button.

      Problem being, the prices those people want are nothing short of insane. If I wanted to get ripped off, sure. That's a valid option. But seriously - anything over $0.10USD per screw is a total ripoff. At least in the case of M3x5mm.

      See for yourself. And yeah, I get wholesale pricing. Even A2 stainless steel M3x10 are only $0.1133/ea. ;P

      Other problem is my local shop doesn't stock 'em, so I'm trying to find 'em from someone who also sells the other parts so I can combine an order. (Need front fan mounts, rear 80mm panel, other miscellaneous parts, you get the idea.) But none of my usual sources have the M3's. In fact, it's literally a case of everything but the M3's. Otherwise my minimum quantity is 100 - of which I will use a whopping 8. And I have no other use for them - the rest of my M3 stuff is stainless or black oxide cap already. :(

        Yes I understand you only want 8 screws LOL and why I would look at recovery type options.. (as in take em from somewhere else)

        I did lots and lots of looking at places for this type of screw.. it mostly comes down to are you willing to get what will work or do you need/want exactly what was there..

        I found this site: KM3*6 Steel PC Case Screws Kit (20-Pack) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme but they are silver and not sure if yours were black?
        It says free shipping? (never used them before)
        but I am surprised your other sources do not have this type of screw..

        For Qty 8 mostly your dealing with shipping and handling but you know this..

        YOU could try your local hobby RC shop I bet they would have these screws..

        I did find black ones but the shipping Sheesh!!

            Well, DX... Yeah. We're done here.

            And yeah - the low quantity is why I'd prefer to combine 'em. I'm not gonna begrudge 'em $6-8 in shipping when I've got a bunch of fiddly parts - but I'm sure as hell not paying $8 for something that costs 'em maybe $1. (Forget the insane prices per screw.) Unfortunately, looks like I'm gonna be making a trip to Fastenal though. All the RC around here uses cap screws - and yeah, I already raided those supplies too.

            So uh, anybody wanna get in on eleventy bajillion M3x5mm screws? They're really nice ones! ;)
