I am not able to get usb devices recognized in my computer for a win 7 64 bit os. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers through device manager to no avail. This issue relates to this thread I started (http://forums.tweaktown.com/asrock/5...-crashing.html).
Booting up I've only seen a slight improvement than before. Soluto states that my boot up is about 4 minutes which is about 1 or 2 minutes faster. Running Avast in boot mode is very slow (3% for 2 hours?). I've ran registry reviver 9 times between yesterday and today. I ran little registry cleaner once today. A few days ago I also ran "slim drivers" in order to update drivers.
The machine is more stable now that the CPU fan is hooked up to cpufan2 instead of 1. I am now able to boot into safe mode since I uninstalled easeUS Backup. It seems that EUBKMON.SYS is an EaseUS driver that was causing the trouble. I did install Acronis before but I've read that it leaves behind registry entries that need to be removed. I am not aware of how to do that. I only have the usb driver issue for which I believe could be resolved if Acronis could be removed from my system. I also wish to know if old intel pentium drivers would conflict with the new intel ones.
