how do you guys run so many fans? i've already used up the 3 fan plugs on my motherboard, and i still have a spare fan sitting here doing nothing..

The reason why most of us have so many fans is because we use the bigger 4 pin connecter which come with a female along with the male to continue the connection directly from the power supply NOT the motherboard.

It is also recommended not to use your motherboard as the power source of your fans. Try to keep away from using the small 3 pin and find yourself some bigger four pin connector fans.

The picture below can give you an idea on what i am talking about. Notice there is both a male and female to continue the connection as i mention before.

I only monitor fans by the motherboard headers, I never power them from there as the load required for them may cause instability in the motherboard so they get powered straight from the PSU. ;)

You can prolly get one from an online retailer...but seeing where you are from...maybe someone else can guide you to it...

But next time you are gonna buy fans...remember to get ones like i demonstarted up there...

Most reasonable PC stores will carry all sorts of connectors/adaptors. I usually get a 3pin to 4pin molex adaptor with fan monitoring connector. ;)

there's not much work to splicing it your self either - just leave the rpm monitoring lead on the 3pin connector & spice the 12v & ground onto the leads from your P/S - it's a little more permanent though.
