i'm previously using DDR2 with 667mhz memory and i try to upgrade 2 memory DIMM with 2GB PC3 10666 memory stick onto my motherboard but it cannot boot up. Please assist..

Like, DUDE, what motherboard are you talking about?
Right now all I can say with certainty is the MB has DDR2 AND DDR3 slots as the two are "keyed" differently.
Err... ummm.... Or at least I truly hope the MB has DDR2 and DDR3 slots. You didn't use a sledgehammer to make DDR3 sticks fit a DDR2 slot did you?#1 - Please, when seeking help, enter the make and model of ALL parts that your system is comprised of in your Signature, or at least the model #'s in your System Specs, then "Save' it.

#2 - Consider your PSU to be the foundation from which all else is built upon. Anything built upon a weak foundation is poorly built.
