  • HD400 Graphics on Asrock Extreme 6 Z77 not displaying

Hi I have an Asrock Extreme 6 MB with 2 AMD MSI 7870 discrete GPU in crossfire mode they all work fine together no problem on a W7 64 Ultimate OS. Except I cannot get the Intel HD 4000 graphics to display in windows or it even to be recognized in the device manager that it exists. I can boot up with it displaying as well as the 7870 monitor displaying up to the point of showing the Wndows Logo once it goes into windows proper the monitor connected to the onboard goes into standby mode. The only thing I can think is when I set the machine up initially the first time it loaded windows up it worked and displayed then I rebooted without installing the HD4000 drivers and since then it has refused to display past the Logo on the monitor connected to the HD4000 output. If I enable it in the Bios (IGPU enable) then the machine will not boot past the bios at all also setting it as onboard instead of PCI-E makes no difference. The reason I want it running is I have three monitors set up and as you cant use the second discrete GPU to display unless you disable Crossfire I wanted the third monitor to run off the HD4000. 2 of my monitors are for photo editing and the third is used for gaming. I know this configuration can work because I ran it on an Asus MB previously which unfortunately the sound chip failed on so I changed it for an Asrock. I know it isn't a fault with the monitor, the memory corsair vengeance 8 gig or the PSU I suspect its either my fault with not installing the drivers for the HD4000 when I had the chance or some odd setting I'm missing in the bios that isn't obvious. the processor is the Intel 3rd Generation Core i5-3570K CPU (4 x 3.40GHz, Ivy Bridge, Socket 1155, 6Mb L3 Cache, Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0) which is also working fine. I've also tried booting up in safe mode that made no difference either.Trying to install the HD4000 drivers doesn't work either as it states there isn't the correct hardware available. Does anyone have any ideas?
