Z77X-UD3H 4.0GHZ overclock

Right now I am running my processor at stock speeds and optimzed defaults in the bios.
I am thinking of pushing it to 4.0 or 4.2 which I believe is safe given air cooling.

Two questions. Is it simply me changing the Turbo Multis to 40x, LLC set to High or Turbo and thats it? Should be able to run on stock voltage, no?
Also, given my ram, should I set that to XMP Profile 1 or 2? Or leave it running at default?

try with llc set to medium and yes you should be able to run 4ghz on stock voltage

Is there any benefit to changing the Turbo Multipliers opposed to the CPU Clock Frequency?

its upto you,you can either use the turbo multi's or the cpu multi

either will work the same

Thanks. Ill stick with Turbo off then as most guides I read say to leave it off. As for CPU Voltage, changing it from AUTO to a value, what is a base value I should set with my current processor? 1.35v and slowly work my way down?

you can try with cpu voltage set to normal and use medium or low llc

then see if its stable and how much cpu voltage is used in cpu-z while stressing,you can also undervolt the cpu by using a ngative dvid so maybe -0.005v
