I'm using Ximian Evolution as my default mail handler. I get a lot of viruses in my email.. sometimes upwards of 100+ a day.

What I want to know: Is it safe to use Evolution? I don't want to click on an email and BAM.. instant virus. In windows, I have Norton Antivirus and Internet Security that automatically stops all emails from executing anything. In Linux, I don't.

Is there some option I could use? I don't see anything anywhere... Or, am i worrying for nothing, and Linux is going to keep those big bad viruses from running amuck?

There are no email viruses for linux, there are a few worms and a few trojans, and none of them are self propagating (except for a few apache related worms).
