1. Let us assume that I get an H97 board, which does NOT allow CPU overclocking, and I buy either a standard 4690 or 4790 (because a K-class CPU is useless in an H97 board); can I still overclock my GeForce GTX 760 card or my RAM? Or is it the case that an H97 board does not allow overclocking for ANYTHING that I plug into it?
2. I have seen a YouTube demo, where a standard i5-4690 on an H97 board runs hotter than an overclocked (4.8GHz) i5-4690K on a Z97 board. Why is this?
