  • New Xeon E5-2600 series on X99boards

    Hello All:
i currently have an AsRock X99-Extreme6 board with a Xeon E5-2690 V3 processor and 128 GB memory. I am very pleased with this board and the performance of my system. I know Intel is introducing the new Xeon E5-2600 v4 series this quarter and I am curious whether my motherboard will support the new E5-2699 v4 processor with its 22 cores? Will this require an upgrade in Bios or is it even possible? Thanks, Rob65

The funny thing is that other motherboard brands have already started to support this. Asus with their Z10PE-D8. (Sure its a server board but still) and Gigabyte with GA-X99M-Gaming 5.
It would be great if Asrock could implement support for BDW now also.
