Has anyone got any ideas for connecting LEDs to HDDs to show individual drive activity rather than than the regular signal the motherboard gives showing when any and all drives are accessed?
I've been reading that some SCSI disks have this ability, but no reference to IDE drives. Maybe some drives have points on the curcuit board? The drive in front of me has a pair of pins in the jumper area that don't seem to have any use... Obviously a pair of wires in the IDE cable carries this signal, but which ones?
Any advice would be appreciated!
