Your problem is likely in the Multiplier. Im not familar with Intell chips (Im an AMD man) but im sure its running to high for the processor with the default multiplier. Take a look through the bios and on the board for jumpers and lower the multiplier.

More info would be nice though.

Your problem is your running a willamette cpu, and well, they dont' overclock as well as the northwoods do. I'd be surprised if you were able to get 2.26ghz (133mhz fsb).

Ya im not to sure all i now it's a P4 1.7 423 pin 400 MHz system Bus made in costa rica But all i wan't to raise it to is 2000.and when i up fsb to any higher than 111 the monitor goes blank, I have it at 105 right now , so i thought i could use the jumper setting to put it to 133 from 100 MHz . I set the jumper to 133 with out doing anything with the multiplyer but it's set at 17 and it wouldn't even boot up do you know what i should set it at.If nothing else i've gave it a good shot anyway's. Thanks

Okay let me clarify some more :) It don't matter where your proc was manufaturered, your multiplier, nottin' ... the only thing that matters is really this, the willy's don't overclock as well as the northwoods do... Eg., most northwoods overclock 400mhz (on avg) some more than others (like mine, almost 800mhz oc) but the willamette's dont overclock that well. it don't matter what your multiplier is, what matters is, I DOUBT you'll reach 133mhz fsb (quadpumped to 533) on your 100mhz, willamette proc (socket 423 is willamette core p4's). But you can try a few things, coz 105 seems a little low even for a willy...

            1) Up your voltage some (don't go too high, generally 0.2v is 'bout safe (at least, on the NW's)) I wouldn't go higher than that just incase (somebody please step in if they think that's too high of a voltage recommendation for the willy's)...

Increasing your voltage will provide some stability, but most times, if your machine doesn't post when oc'ng, the odds are raising the voltage level slightly, might get it to post, but it'll be unstable. Also, another thing I'd recommend is if your bios supports it, lock your agp/pci frequencies at 66/33mhz... The reason for this is when you overclock your fsb, your also increasing the speed at which the agp and pci busses run at. The AGP bus can handle overclocking better than the pci bus can, so if for example, while overclocking your getting soudn glitches when playing a game / listening to mp3's or whatever... this may be a cause for that.
