Keyboard not working properly in BIOS!

did you try using regular ps2 keyboard??
if that works,
than try using different USB port.
If nothing changes, it might be the the quirk in BIOS. I'm assuming that the F keys work once you boot to OS.
I know i saw a USB keyboard option in BIOS so you might want to check that if its turned on.

i would look into bios settings for that USB keyboard option. If thats not it, I think that the BIOS itself wont support the F keys.
Maybe there is a BIOS update that will fix it??? I dunno.
But I would scratch this off to "Thats the price you pay for grateness"

Atleast you got it to work... But when I mentioned the F-Lock.. I was talking about your F1, F2, F3 keys... New keyboards are coming out that have multiple key stroke information based on the F-Lock key... acts like the NumLock, CapsLock, etc. Especailly, on the new internet keyboards. Anywho, glad you got it fixed.
