  • My GeForce3 ti500

I've got a PNY Geforce 3 ti500. This card has been giving me great performance for as long as I've had it but it's been doing some kinda strange things in the process.

    1) If I overclock it even the slightest bit 3dmark will crash.

    2) I'm currently running the 30.82 drivers because when I try to install either the 40.72 or the 41.09 it will go to "not responding" during the install process.

    3) I used to be able to get my display onto a tv. My machine refuses to let me to so any more.

Any sugestions you guys can make would be greatly appreciated.

1)what are you useing to overclock
2)putting on better cooling will help.
3)try earlier drivers than the ones you tries.
4)Check the cable you use to connect to the TV

      1)I'm using coolbits to oc.
      2)I'm using stock cooling.
3)I'm currently running 30.82 drivers and they're the oldest ones I still have the install for.
4)It'd def not the cable because it works with the same cable when I hook my laptop to the same tv.

Alright, I fudged around with it a bit more and finially got the 41.09 drivers to properly install and in doing so upped my 3dmark score by 400 points.
As for the tv-out settings, I can only access them if it "detects" the tv which it is not doing. The tv not working is the most frustrating part because with the same comp, same tv, same cable it used to work just fine.

In theory that's a good idea... Last I can remember it working properly was before I formatted.
