    I'd actually have to say Telstra / Vodafone had better reception in my area than Optus.

    That may well be the case in Camperdown, I've never been there :confused:


    But I just came back from Armidale, and my friend had Hel$tra MoronNet..... guess what? On the New England and Pacific highways, I was very surprised at the lack of coverage that Hel$tra has. There were only 3 places that Optus handheld coverage dropped out between Brisbane and Armidale along the New England Highway - Telstra GSM dropped out more than a dozen times :eek:


    Anyway I suppose different providers have different coverage - I know that Optus has far better inner city coverage than Hel$tra (but that's of no use to Tweak and Olie) :D

    OK, well here's a few coverage maps from Optus' coverage website:

    Red = Indoor Handheld Coverage
    Orange = Outdoor Handheld Coverage
    Yellow = Car Kit Coverage
    White = No Coverage
