    what exactly is the advantage of upping the voltage of your chipset? what does it do?:shrug:

    It generally provides more stability when overclocking the motherboard. But you'll want to have adequate cooling in place as the factory fans (or passive heatsink in some cases) are generally only good for default voltage levels. More volts = more heat.

    so the only advantage is more stability when overclocking, for higher fsb's?
