    im looking for reliablity, upgradable and worthwhile.

    Which is the best between the above?

    You'll almost certainly be happy with either one as they are both top-tier motherboard manufacturers. Performance will be similar enough with Abit and Asus boards using the same chipsets that you should probably decide based on extra features that u need :cheers: :2cents:

    Get one of the Abit nForce2 mobo's as they're slightly faster in the overclockin' department than ASUS though I prefer the EPoX 8RDA3+ myself.

    Asus A7N8X Deluxe is my choice.

    The A7N8X is a fine board. If you are looking for a good overclocking board the Abit NF7-S 2.0 is unrivaled. The next best board is the A7N8X and is usually more stable and reliable but won't get you as high of an overclock. It depends what you are doing with your system.

    I've heard abit mobos have component conflicts, theres some hardware parts which are not adaptable towards the mobo, is this true?
