Hello all, I have an athlon xp 2400+ and the above mentioned mobo. I bought a speed strip (www.speed-strip.com) and installed it last night. i got the expected behavior (i guess) and it set the multiplier to 7 (def. is 12) and the bus speed to 133. I have 2 sets of dip switches on the board. one to set the multiplier, which i tried to set to 15, and one that is either auto or on. for a 266 or 333 cpu, you switch it to auto, on for a 400. i can change the bus speed in either the bios or easytune (gigabyte util.)

so i boot into windows and it says the multiplier is set to 7. so, i can't get it to run any faster than 933ish, which is less than half the default speed.

    any ideas?

Have ya gone into the BIOS and pressed "Ctrl + F1" to bring up the hidden performance section {I think that BIOS has it anyway} and set the parameters there? :?:
