    Default pc chips motherboard

    Could somebody please tell me how to make my processor run at the correct speed. I have a pc chips mobo m922 series with a p4 3.06 ghz processor, the problem is that it only run at 2.6 ghz. i have checked & it is a true 3.06 processor. my mobo manuel says it supports a FSB of 533. I have 512mb of pc3200 ddr....PLEASE HELP!

    Running P4X266A chipset? I'm not an Intel guy, but I'm not sure that chipset will support that fast a processor, will it?

    no, the chipset is p4x333, the mobo manuel even says it supports a 3hgz processor. i have tried pcchips tech support & gotten nowhere with them.

    You might as well give up on PCChips support.
