    Default Computer NooBie, NEED HELP

Hey guys, I've just recently built a computer for myself with a Gigabyte Motherboard.

Still months later, I cannot seem to work out how to connect the front wires to the motherboard that enable me to use the front usb & audio outlets.

The case I have is a silver Xion (P4, AMD, PIII) 500w and the motherboard is acutally a Gigabye P4 Titan.

If anyone has any suggestions or step by step help, it would much be appreciated... thanks guys!

    Cheers,
    Julie

This is why parts come with manuals, even people like me who assemble pcs on a regular basis wont know all the motherboards' connector layouts. Having said that, the connectors should also be labelled on the board, if you dont have the manual

My friend has a tsunami dream and an asus mb and the front firewire still doesn't work right due to a confusion in the manuals.

USB is usually very simple, usually just a matter of two wires per USB port, the 3 pin power and the single ground, so you should have a total of 4 wires if you have 2 usb ports in the front of your case.
Front audio is a mess of wires but your manual probably won't have these wires named by the same name as your case wires. You should be able to figure out the left and right speaker connections with ease then getting the power and grounds shouldn't be that hard after the process of elimination.

I don't know what your case wires are named and I can't find your board on Gigabytes website to look at the manual, so this is all I can help you out.

All Gigabyte motherboards have the same pin outs for the Front connector.(The newer ones at least).

And what does that have to do with the audio and USB ports?
