Thread: Nforce problem

    Ive read something about this before but havent been able to find anything on it again.. seems every once in awhile.. the clock
    starts running like mad and and only resets the correct time after a reboot.. any ideas or suggestions?
    My System:
    Antec case w/ 400w PSU
    ASUS A7N 266E
    AMD 1700XP
    Maxtor 40g HDD
    512 pc2100 crucial DDR
    GeForce 3

    Never heard of it before...I've got the Abit NV7-133R, no clock problems. Could be one of them freak things, y'know.

    You could try updating the bios as a start, if ya haven't already, and it'd help if you gave us the brand of the Mobo aswell :)

    its an ASUS board.. A7N266E.
    yea I updated the bios first.. but that didnt help.. a few days later I got that fast clock thing again.. it only acts up once in awhile.. maybe 3 or 4 times since I built this computer
