    Question ASRock motherboards info

I was thinking about getting an ASRock mobo. Anyone have any experience with the socket LGA 775 ones that have both AGP & PCI-E support along with DDR & DDR II support? The ASRock 4CoreDual-SATA2 LGA 775 VIA PT880 Pro/PT880 Ultra ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157115 seems like maybe a good choice for a budget/slow upgrade build for using some existing hardware (like DDR and AGP with later upgrades to DDR II and PCI-E video). The specs. call for DDR 400 PC3200 ram. Would I still be able to use my DDR 333 PC2700 ram in this board? Thanks for any helpful input.

Are you planning to overclock? I ask this because apparently the board does not allow you to change vcore.

Yes, I plan on overclocking somewhat but without exotic cooling so I probably won't be messing with my voltages any. I've about changed my mind on this mobo anyways. Now I'm looking into an inexpensive barebones combo using LGA 775 or AM2 socket but with DDR2 and PCI-E. I will still use my optical drives and my case but I will need everything else. Any recommendations on a mobo/dual core proc. combo with good onboard sound for a very tight budget? I won't need a super large HDD either-about 120 gig will do. Also, about $100 for vid card is in the plan too. Plus 2 gigs of DDR2. My budget will only go for about $300 to $350 total. Don't need SLI nor real expensive ram. Any thoughts? Thanks.
