Default Intel ver Supermicro MB

I'm comparing the two Intel Motherboards to two SuperMicro Motherboards, and not just the price but mainly the board support; Switching Pwr Phase, North and or South bridge, RAM speed and amount, etc. Next will be which CPU to use, study, then on to the RAM spec's I do have a running supermicro mb--PDSLA, Pent 4, 3GHz. I personally like the SuperMicro boards, first box I ever assembled was with one, so my opinion is based more on memory than experience, The SuperMicro MB's have a few more features than the intel boards and are a little more compatable with older hardware judging by the back panel. The X58 based MB, SuperMicro has 6 memory slots over 4 and a another LAN Port than the Intel. The X48 SuperMicro has a couple of PCI-X slots the Intel lacks. Looks like the SuperMicros have more compatibility than the Intels.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
