    Default Problem with Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3

    Hi...I have just build a system MB is gigabyte GA-870A-UD3, 4 gig DDR3 1333, Athlon II quad core,and graphic is pci ex x16..the problem is it will not POST. the manaul instructs to connect the 24pin power and the 8 pin 12v but it wont power up with the 8 pin 12v connected either way no POST..any ideas?

    you gave him links to the s.1366 mbo :)
    and he has AM3 socket...

    well,since you didnt write the model of power supply ,can't tell much.
    1. check all connectors
    2. clear CMOS ,or thake the battery out for a couple minutes,with power connector unpluged.
    3.try with only 1 stick of ram and gpu connected ,then try with other.
    4.try with another power supply (if you are unsure that yours can run the sistem/or it's old or faulty)

    5. does the mbo make any beeping sound?if so,check your manual and se what does it mean. bad cpu/ram/mem/something else...

    and if nothing works,the board is maybe ready for RMA.
