Default cannot change boot device priority

I cannot change boot device priority. i can change it in the bios, and press save and exit. but it won't change. the reason behind this is that when i boot the computer it stops in a black screen saying cmos error please press f1 for setup f2 for load default setting. and i exactly don't want to load those default setting i want the new one

Read the bottom of the screen there Maybe its the + or - or page up/down that actually changes the boot order.

Test the CMOS battery if its dead. Change the battery, if it is.
