I have read in a review that by setting the front side bus(FSB) to 165 on the GA-7VRXP mob that a speed increase was gained and that this was better than setting the cpu multiplier to max 12.5 times.

I can not find any mention to the FSB in the manual that came with this motherboard nor in any page of the bios setup?

CVan anyone help me.Also what exactly does the FSB do as compared to the cpu multiplier?

If your model number is actually 7VAXP (I see a V7R listed on Gigabyte's site, but no V7RXP), then on page 9 of the manual ,there are instructions for setting the fsb speed using SW1. FSB is the speed of the bus that the ram is on i.e. 100mz, 133mz, 166nz. You select a multiple (this is what the multiplier is) of the set speed that equals the processor speed i.e. fsb = 133 X 10 multiplier =1.3gz processor speed.
