I got my Soyo Sy-KT400 in the mail today, and it sure is something to drool over! The box itsself is amazing to look at, and so packed full of goodies.

I can't wait to install it, but I've gotta finish backing up the data I don't want to lose when I format my HD.

I was thinking about getting one of those. But it really wasnt worth $80-odd dollars over the Giga-byte.
New Sig soon, old one was way outdated.

Nah, had to go to work shortly after the post :( Didn't feel like hand carrying a fully loaded Antec SX1030 case/17 inch monitor for a 10 minute walk to work with me hehe.

I'll be tackling that issue as soon as I get home though.

PGA1234 - I too thought it was a bit expensive, but I managed to get it for a good 30 bucks less than everyone else was asking for it. I went with the SOYO SY-KT400 beause SOYO's boards consistently showed that they had what it takes to push performance past the rest of the competetion.

I am sending the max2 back for a refund. I think I am going to go with the Soy KT400, KT333 or the Epox 8k5a2+ or 3+.

hehe, with the abit board...you try once try again. You try again and it does not work...you need to find a different product.

Hey how is the install going with the Soyo Board! I am sure it rocks....!!! Good luck :thumb:

It's all set up now. No hitches at all. It's blazingly fast too! Even at stock settings, I can see a large difference stepping up from a KT266A board.

Wheee.. About to start benchmarking it, as soon as I get rid of these 40.71 Detonators. They just don't feel right. I'll be heading back to my trusty 30.82's.
