    Default Micro ATX X99 Mobo

Ive been looking for one but there aren’t much choices to choose from for a micro ATX sized X99 motherboard, I looked at ASRock’s X99M Killer simply blows EVGA’s X99 Micro out of the water with better hardware specifications and features. It has twice the digital VRM phases for better power efficiency, dual LAN and more SATA3 ports..
Do you guys if its worth a look?

Features are important, as is the quality of the components, but features are often subject to a lot of overblown marketing hype.

Search the web using: x99 micro motherboard review and see what the best review sites say about each motherboard model.

Hopefully there are some forum members that have the ASRock model and that they can give you some feedback.

There is little or no EVGA motherboard content in the TT forum.

Keep in mind that some of the major computer tech web sites have holiday buying guides that might be a good source of information.

    Good luck with your search.

Quick update, Gigabyte has a new X99M Gaming 5, but probably still consider Asrock in my opinion.

Yea, that Killer mobo looks like pretty decent pick. Would love to see reviews on the Gaming, how it would match up in specs and features.. you know any?

Cool, show us some pictures of your system when you're done. If you can also provide us with some thoughts and even some benchmark results. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
