    Yeah it's a good board but everyone seems to be talking about the Nforce2 chipset motherboards.
    It has Dual DDR.....gives a little performance increase in certain benchmarks.
    But more importantly it has a huge array of features. You can throw away your sound card as the one onboard is meant to be really good. Also you can easily share your broadband internet with the dual network adapters built in. Also firewire and all sorts of goodies.

    But other than that the Asus one you have mentioned is meant to be a good board.

    Yes that board comes out well in roundups but I tend to leave Asus alone as they are expensive here and their boards always seem to have funny quirks to them. :(

    I use EPoX boards myself as they are much cheaper here than Asus and I find the BIOS much better as well. You may want to consider EPoX's 8K9A series of motherboards (near bottom of page) as the new BIOS for these allows you the change the multiplier on Thoroughbred CPU's without having to unlock them, http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=6235 :D
