Default Bad PSU, now bad motherboard?

PC stopped powering up at all, got PSU tested - Dead. RMA'd it

New PSU - still no power. Got it tested - works great.

What are the chances the bad PSU took my motherboard down with it?

It happens unfortunately. If your PSU had any sort of power fluctuations the motherboard may have sacrificed itself to protect your other components. If it's just powering on then turning immediately off, you may have a short on the MB. This happened to me, my backplate ( which was untouched for 6 months) caused a short and nothing worked until I got a new motherboard and new CPU cooler.

Oh, and if it's not turning on at all you may want to double check all the connections just to make sure you didn't connect something incorrectly. If all is well, time to RMA the board.
