sooooo, long story short (dont ask me how please I feel forever stupid for this) I have an ES sample cpu that is beefy as all sin, and I have a motherboard that is a gigabyte x99 2011-v3 motherboard that supports the RETAIL version of this exact cpu, and I have no system that can power this bad-boy that is capable of cooling this thing in all of its glory and heat output...so, my question is, is there a way to modify, even if I have to do some research and do this myself, to modify the bios and or make a custom bios image to flash to my gigabyte board to support the cpu microcode of this particular xeon cpu that the retail final version (stepping wise and microcode wise) are fully supported on, so that this gigabyte board of mine, that is fully capable of using this cpu given it supports the retail final released version of this exact same cpu, to get it to post with this cpu installed?? please PLEASE tell me there is....
