I hope you can help with our start up problem.
The system is 4 years old running Windows 10, suddenly stopped during operation and will not restart. No fans, no case switch light, only a steady case switch light. We removed the power supply, shorted it and the fan runs, all voltages are normal. Removed and replaced the battery. How do we know if the problem is with the motherboard? There really is not much left other than the cpu itself, case switch, or memory. Can I jumper the case switch pins?
Your help will be appreciated.
