I was pretty sure that DDR memory was faster.

I don't understand. You say the GB boards are going for $500, yet I didn't know they were even out yet. Harddrive.com has the Gigabyte GA-8INXP, as pre-order. It's due out in a week or so. And I thought the Gigabyte GA-8INXP was the first GB board, so I don't understand.

I'm ordering the Gigabyte GA-8INXP, and I hope it will be a killer gamer mobo.

Well down here in Australia they had a few Gigabytes in stock but I believe they are all sold out now.
But man $500 AUD or $232 USD is pretty steep for a motherboard don't you think?
But if you're after the best then i guess thats the price you pay :thumb:

That is a pretty steep price but...he will just have to sacrifice himself on other things ...no RW or DVD etc etc...

I didn't know that there were dual Intel Pentium 4 motherboards on the market. That's cool.

The "dual" part has the do with the two DDR memory channels and not CPU's sorry.
