    Well...it sounds like your board is toast.
    Can you boot to windows safe mode or command prompt?
    If you can't then call it a day...you've worked hard enough.
    If you can't boot to command how can you flash bios, eh?
    Those series of boards are cheap enough to toss anyway.

    Have a beer....that post was hard enough work to read let alone write!

    Thanks to all who have tried and helped me get the K7VZA motherboard back on track. I have spent too many hours on this, and have decided to "scrap" the board. I purchased a new K7SEM board today and hope that eliminates all the problems. Again, thanks to all who have made a contribution. Happy New Year to all, Wayne

    This is actually my 4th system in the house and I have it in the game room so the kids can play with it. My better systems are all IWill 266 running Athlon at 1.6ghz.. so, this is just a game machine and thus the cheap board.. cheers, Wayne
