I purchased my ga-7vaxp from www.newegg.com, I have had very good luck with this merchant the last several years.
I have been using the ga-7vaxp for about 3 months now. I was using an ECS K7s5A, the gigabyte board is several step's up in my opinion. I have had no problems at all with this motherboard, my brother also has one of these boards and loves his also.

I have: ga-7vaxp, AMD 1800+, 512mb Corsair Extreme DDR pc3200, running at cas-2 and it seems to run better at 333mhz than at 400, maybe that is because of the cpu. I also have an Nvidia GF4 440 64mb ddr. Sound card is Creative 5.1 ( I have not tried the on board sound ) Also have 2 120GB WD hard drives, Zip drive, DVD-Rom and Lite-on 48x cdrw. I have not used the raid system on this board.

This setup runs Unreal Tournament 2003 with no problem also MS Combat Flight Sim 3 and Flight Sim 2002 pro.

I would recomend this motherboard, I have just not had any problems with it at all.

Another thumbs up for Newegg. I bought my whole system from them.
