OK, i have justed noticed that when i am inserting the power supply cable into the ATX power socket there is a smaller one there with only 4 pins. I have heard that is only for p4's then why is it on a AMD board?

some amd boards are starting to put them on the boards. It servers the same purpose it does on p4 boards-supplemental power. So if you have the connector, go ahead and plug it in

    it's an aux. 12v
I've gone too far and need to move on!
